Hey Everyone,
Good to have you here again! Today, we'll be looking at Google Marketing Platform, an amazing one stop solution for advertising and analytics that's available for small businesses and enterprises.
Google marketing platform was launched in June 2018. It integrated the various google applications that were used for advertising, analytics, web and app testing, surveys and more into one platform for businesses and corporations. Today, we would be focusing on Google Analytics, a product I personally view as having a flagship kind of status in the google marketing suite of products.
Google Analytics has been around for a while. It's a great solution for web analytics that's really easy to implement. I think every business with a web or app presence(Are there still any businesses without an online presence? Probably a topic for another post) should use it. I've personally used it in the past to analyse my website traffic. It shows you who's visiting, what pages they are spending time on, the location they are visiting from, the device they are visiting on and so much more. It also helps you see the results of your advertising campaigns, so you know exactly where to put those marketing dollars. The interface has been improved and machine learning has been thrown in to give an even richer experience complete with visuals that help you make those marketing decisions without having to spend a fortune. Best of all, with the new Google Marketing Platform, Analytics allows you access data from all the other products in the platform like google ads, data studio and optimize. The result is an amazing marketing experience that saves you time and brings the results you need without you having to do any elbow work.
Google Analytics is currently offered in two versions, A free version Analytics which is aimed at small businesses and a paid version Analytics 360 for the enterprise which offers more advanced features.
